Australian University Games, Sunday 28 September - Friday 3 October
Monash is looking for enthusiastic staff, students and alumni to participate in the Australian University Games. From supporting to volunteering to competing, everyone can be involved!
If you ask anyone who has been involved in one of these events they will tell you that it is an experience of a lifetime, and one of the most rewarding experiences that university life can offer. It's an exciting prospect and we want you to get involved.
Volunteer for AUG
As the Principal Partner for the 2008 Australian University Games, Monash University will require volunteers to assist in the delivery of a games program that encompasses not only existing students and staff of Monash University but also involves alumni, prospective and past students.

Thank you to all those who have expressed interest in volunteering for Monash University and the Australian University Games. Due to the great reponse and enthusiasm of the Monash community, registrations have closed as of the Wednesday 13 August.

What is the Support Crew?
TeamMONASH™ will be fighting hard to win gold in every event we compete in for the Australian University Games and we may have some home advantages but in some of our sports that may not be enough.
Having the games so close to us is a good opportunity to make the most of our vocal cords and cheer our fellow Monash Community to victory. It would be fantastic to see both students and staff members get behind each of our sporting teams for the week.
What do you get for becoming a supporter?
Not only is it a great opportunity to meet new students but Monash Sport will also provide a few incentives to help you cheer on our teams, including :
- Massive hand (like at the American baseball games)
