Codes and abbreviations

Timetabled activities in MUTTS and Allocate+ use codes.

For example:

This example shows a first year unit that runs at Clayton in Semester 2 during the day.

Second and third year units have 4 digit numbers starting with 2 or 3 etc.

Activities in MUTTS and Allocate+

Activities may be repeated or have a series of parts.

Repeated activities

This example shows the same activity is repeated during the week:

Tutorial/02
Tutorial/03

Each week you attend either Tutorial/01 or Tutorial/02 or Tutorial/03.

Activities with parts

This example shows parts are represented by P1 and P2.

You can choose either lecture series 01 or series 02, and attend each part in that series.

Lecture/02-P1
Lecture/02-P2

Each week you attend Lecture 01-P1 and Lecture 01-P2.

Alternatively, you attend Lecture 02-P1 and Lecture 02-P2.

This example in Allocate+ shows a student in South Africa who has a choice of 8 tutorials, each with 2 parts. The locations of the tutorials vary.
