| Outline |
The presentation describes the conduct and delivery of the
teaching, and the assessment of Engineering Profession using
project-based approach. Engineering Profession , a common
subject in the 1 st year engineering curriculum, has been developed
to overcome two key perceived problems of new engineering students:
a lack of understanding of what engineers actually do, and of the
environment in which they work and interact with the community. The
presentation further shows that the use of group work and problem-based
learning approach are important teaching models for the education in engineering. |
