This presentation reviews Creative Waves , the world's largest international on-line student design project. Endorsed by the International Council of Graphic Design Associations, over 120 Art and Design students, teachers, practitioners and writers from around the globe were linked into small creative clusters, where no team member was in the same geographic location. The presentation will reflectively critique Creative Waves' claim to respond to revised global demands on creative education .

This presentation discusses the creation of communication channels for on-campus and off-shore teaching collaboration. A teaching team comprising tutors and lecturers from Caulfield and South Africa Campuses developed an undergraduate unit in the Bachelor of Computing with collaborative learning and teaching enabled via the use of WebCT learning management system.
