Resources and Information for Staff
Staff from the Centre for the Advancement of
Learning and Teaching can assist Monash staff in identifying strategies
for discouraging plagiarism among students. Please contact
Dr Harsh Suri to discuss further issues related to: planning assessment
tasks that discourage plagiarism; educating students about what constitutes plagiarism
and how to avoid it; detecting potential plagiarism in students’ work; dealing with
cases of potential plagiarism.
Staff from the Learning Skills Unit can support Monash staff in educating their
students about proper referencing techniques and ways of avoiding plagiarism. Please
contact a Learning
Skills Advisor to organise sessions for your students facilitated/co-facilitated
by the staff from the Learning Skills Unit.
