How to use Course Finder
Search overview
You can search Course Finder 3 ways
- Basic search: By your study interest eg. computer design
- Advanced search: By study interest, level of study and preferred location
- Browse search: Specialised study available in each study interest area
Basic search
- Enter your study interest keywords (eg. computer design) in the search field and click "Go"
- In the search results all courses containing your study interest are listed
- The results are ordered by level of study (eg. undergraduate, postgratuate)
- Within the level of study the course name and locations (or off-campus) are listed in rows
Advanced search
- Click the "Advanced search" link to proceed to the Advanced search screen
- Enter your study interest keywords in the Advanced search field eg. computer design
- Under "Select course level" choose a study level to refine the search
- To refine the search more, under "Select course location(s)" choose desired locations (or off-campus)
- Click the "Search" button
- Refined results are returned according to search criteria
- The results are listed by level of study (eg. undergraduate, postgratuate)
- Within the level of study the course name and locations (or off-campus) are listed in rows
Browse search
- From the "Browse" section select a study interest area from the list (eg. Information Technology)
- At "1. Study areas", select a specialised study area from the list (eg. Computing, information technology)
- At "2. Course level", select a level of study from the drop down list to refine the search (eg. undergraduate, postgratuate)
- At "3. Course location", select a campus (or off- campus) from the drop down list to refine the search more
- Click "Find courses"
- Refined results are returned according to search criteria
- The results are listed by level of study (eg. undergraduate, postgratuate)
- Within the level of study the course name and locations (or off-campus) are listed in rows
