Computers and internet accessMonash University provides a range of IT services to students while on campus. Students can use on-campus computer labs to type essays and to access the University network and software, including Microsoft Office, statistical, simulation and programming packages. Email and computer accountsAll students receive an email address and computer accounts they can use for the duration of their studies. Email access is free to students. Internet accessStudents can access most of the University's resources off-campus via the internet. Most areas on Monash campuses are now also covered for wireless access to the University network and the internet. Students are able to download resources from the internet, subject to their faculty allocated internet usage and the Acceptable use of IT Facilities Policy.
