Regional Visits

The Monash Transition Program undertakes Regional Visits as a community service to assist rural students achieve improved outcomes in their 'transition to university'. Students, parents and teachers find such information sessions to be valuable because they focus on the issues affecting students' transition to university, with a particular emphasis on rural students' transition. Regional Visits also provide secondary school students with an opportunity to speak directly with university students about their concerns.

Timing

  • The most appropriate time to hold transition information sessions is during Term 3 or early Term 4.
