Benefits

Total value of $3000
  • $3000 per annum paid for one year only
  • For students residing with Monash Residential Services the $3000 is subtracted from the student’s Monash Residential Services accommodation fee
Number offered
  • Three bursaries will be offered in 2013
  • One bursary is available to an eligible student who is has an Indigenous Australian background
Selection
  • Based on need
  • Further consideration will be given to students based on their ATAR score or equivalent
  • Preference will be given to students residing in Monash Residential Services at the Gippsland campus

Eligibility

All conditions must be met
  • Australian or New Zealand citizen, holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa
  • Commencing full-time in an approved on-campus undergraduate degree at the Monash Gippsland campus
  • Resident of the East Gippsland Shire
  • From one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups
Retention
  • You must maintain full-time on-campus enrolment
  • You must maintain a minimum of a pass average (50% or above) in semester one
