Total value of up to $50,000

  • $10,000 for full-time study load (48 credit points), paid per year until the minimum points for your degree are completed

  • The scholarship can be used for the following purposes

    • Payment of course fees
    • Rent and accommodation costs
    • Utility bills
    • Transport costs
    • Medical expenses
    • Coursework materials
    • IT hardware or software, such as a laptop
    • Study related travel and conference costs

  • One bursary will be offered in 2013
Selection
  • Based on need
Eligibility
  • Australian citizen
  • Studying VCE or IB in Victoria in 2012
  • Experiencing financial disadvantage
  • Enrolling full time in the undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery degree at a Monash campus in Australia
Retention
  • You must maintain a pass average each semester
Other information
  • Cannot be deferred
  • The recipient will be required to provide an annual report to the donor
  • All students that submitted a scholarship application through VTAC will be automatically assessed for this bursary.
