Vanessa Mahon
Master of Human Rights Law
"My decision to study human rights law was as a result of a personal experience where my rights were significantly breached.
I realised that I wanted to provide practical ways to protect the rights of others. I chose Monash because of the depth of subjects offered in this area. It's made a real difference to my career, and next year I'm starting the Juris Doctor program which will enable me to work as a lawyer in this field."
