Scholarships and bursaries

Monash offers an extensive range of scholarships and bursaries to domestic and international students - valued at more than $40 million per annum - to encourage and reward academic excellence and to ensure equitable access to a world-class Monash education.

University loans

The University provides interest-free loans to students in genuine financial need. To be eligible, students must be currently enrolled at Monash University. These short-term loans are provided to assist students during temporary periods of financial difficulty that might put their studies in jeopardy. Longer-term loans are also available for study-related expenses such as books and computers, although not for payment of fees. Students in the first semester of their first year are generally not eligible for student loans.

Employment service
