"From a very young age, I remember helping my mum in the garden and being interested in Biology. I chose Monash because it is one of the best universities in the world. The Bachelor of Biotechnology is an exciting area of science with huge opportunities upon graduating. One of the best things is how the course is structured; although there is a strong science focus, we also study other interesting areas such as ethics, business and law. I spent my first year at the Sunway Malaysia Campus and I am now at the Clayton campus. Transferring campuses has been a fantastic opportunity for me to live abroad and meet new people. I have also been part of the Science Student Ambassador program, which has been great fun and helped me learn new skills such as presenting and public speaking. I really enjoy talking about Monash and the options available with a Science degree."
Sixteen students have been selected to be Ambassadors for the Science Faculty for 2011.
Their role will be to promote Science to prospective students at Open Day, school visits and other marketing events. The Faculty is looking forward to their enthusiastic contribution
