Other options at Monash

  • Consider studying a double degree
  • Look into internal transfer to Law
  • Investigate pathway programs into Monash degree courses
  • Are you eligible for Access Monash assistance programs?

Consider studying a double degree

A student studying a double degree undertakes two separate degrees simultaneously. A double degree will give you the chance to:

  • stretch yourself
  • study for two degrees concurrently
  • enjoy the diversity of study options
  • graduate with two different bachelor degrees
  • have greater career options into the future

Monash double degree courses are offered across all Monash faculties. Most involve either one or two years extra study. They are applied for using unique VTAC codes. For further information about double degree courses, visit Course finder.

Look into internal transfer if you want to do Law

  • Internal transfers offer another pathway into Law for Monash students
  • This is an achievable option for students who don't meet the entry requirements first time round.
  • If you are studying for another degree at Monash and performing well, you may be able to transfer into the first year of Law.
  • Around 40 per cent of students enter Law through internal transfers each year.
  • Many students enter a double degree with Law (eg Science/Law), which may still be completed in the minimum time.

For further information, visit the Monash Law website or the Admissions website.
