  • Remember, it's not the end of the world - Monash provides several options to keep you on your study and career path.
  • You can change your course preference or consider an alternative entry pathway such as undertaking a diploma program at Monash College.
  • Use the Change of Preference sessions to speak to Monash staff about other options and related courses that may be of interest.
  • Make sure that if you add a new course to your list, you have completed the prerequisite subjects and met any extra requirements.

Alternative entry pathways into Monash

Monash College

  • Monash College provides an ideal beginning to undergraduate study, offering diploma programs which allow successful graduates the opportunity of direct entry into second year of a Monash University degree
  • Monash College offer studies in Arts, Art and Design, Business, Engineering Studies and Information Technology.

Diploma of Tertiary Studies

  • The Diploma of Tertiary Studies offered at the Berwick and Gippsland campuses is a one-year, full-time pathways to university study. The program is the equivalent of first year, and provides additional learning support as you prepare for entry to second year in your chosen degree
  • Degrees available via the Diploma of Tertiary Studies include Arts, Art and Design, Business and Commerce, Nursing, Information Technology and Science.
  • Entry Requirements for the Diploma of Tertiary Studies is an ENTER of 50
