Entry requirements for TAFE applicants

Basic requirements

• Satisfactory completion of an advanced certificate (Certificate IV or above) or the first year of a TAFE institute (Technical and Further Education) associate diploma.
• Scored or graded results are required. Pass/fail or Competent/non-competent only results will not be considered.
• You should also meet any specified prerequisite studies or equivalent for the Monash course.

Additional requirements

• Some faculties may have additional entry requirements such as interviews, admission tests and folios. See the VTAC Guide or consult your faculty.
• Additional scored information such as Year 12 results and other post-secondary studies may help with your application. Select units that will help you meet Monash course requirements.
