Step 1: Find the Monash course that is right for you

• Use the Monash Course Finder to research Monash courses
• Use a Monash Undergraduate Course Guide or Monash College Course Guide
• Meet a Monash adviser and discuss your study and career options

Step 2: Check the entry requirements

• Many courses have prerequisite subjects and entry requirements such as interviews and folio submission
• Check the minimum entry requirements
• Australian Year 12 Results conversion table
• VTAC pre-requisite subjects list

Step 3: Submit an application

• Students studying an Australian Year 12 overseas (except VCE), need to apply direct to Monash University.
• Applications from students studying an Australian Year 12 overseas (except VCE) can be submitted at any time.
• Students studying VCE outside Australia must apply through VTAC online.
• Applications can be submitted at any time
• Prerequisites and extra requirements (folio, interview etc) must still be met.
• Course codes can be found in individual course entries on Monash Course Finder.
• Important: Monash University does not accept internet printed results or logins and passwords for access of results online.
• IELTS or TOEFL results will be considered for all applicants in addition to English or ESL subjects undertaken.

Step 4: Offer stage

•  If successful, Monash University will send you an offer pack to the mailing address on your application form. Please ensure this is correct and contains the most up-to-date contact information

• An offer pack will be sent that includes:
• A letter of offer
• Acceptance documents
• Essential information to help you prepare for life at Monash
• To accept your offer, please follow the instructions in the offer pack or use our acceptance guide.

Step 5: Accept your offer

• Once you have received your offer from Monash, accept your offer and send it back to Monash, together with payment for your first semester as outlined in your offer letter
• Please ensure you state clearly the Department of Immigration and Citizenship office where you will lodge your student visa application.
• Monash will then send you an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment by email that you can use to apply for your student visa. The electronic Confirmation of Enrolment is one of many documents required by Department of Immigration and Citizenship to assess your student visa application.
