Female international student one: "Actually, I've found that they have lots of international students here, like me, so I've found lots a students from overseas as well, only about half of my class are local students and I can spend lots of my time practising English as well because the students are from different countries we have to use English as our common language."

Male International student three: "Before I came to Monash, I thought that it had a good business school but when I came here I saw that it had an excellent, awesome business school, it matched all expectations. Before I thought it would be better for me to have classes but they also provided extracurricular activities as well."

Male international student from China : "Yes, I think so; I think Monash really matched my expectations very well. Before I came here, because I'm from China, and so, before I came here I just went to one of my friends who had already studied at Monash and asked him about what Monash looks like and whether it is a good university or not. And he told me that, yes, it is very good, and, at that time I really had an expectation that Monash would be really good, so after arriving in Australia I found that it was good."

Female international student two: "I'm very happy with the teaching standard, and I've got lots of friends here. Learning what I want to learn. And I got a job relating to what I wanted to learn because of the reputation of Monash so I'm really happy.

Male international student from India: "Well, considering I'm an international student from India, my expectations of Monash before I came were that it would be like an American uni with residential dorms and the stuff that you see on movies but also, on the academic side my expectations were pretty high because I checked out university ratings and Monash rates pretty high in terms of international standards. And, in terms of meeting my expectations, I think Monash does meet my expectations to some degree as I'm pretty satisfied with the quality of education that I've received.
