Monash requirements

  • Students who are considering changing their accommodation or welfare arrangements must discuss the proposed change with Monash (see Approval authority below).
  • Arrangements cannot be approved until all the necessary documentation has been provided. The 'How to change your arrangements' section below provides information on the documentation you need.
  • Students who would like to change from Monash-approved arrangements (using a Monash-approved care-giver service or living with a non-relative or cousin) to living with a parent, custodian or eligible relative must obtain permission from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship by completing the Student Welfare Declaration Form (pdf, 3 pages) .
