What do you enjoy about living in Melbourne?

I appreciate the weather, friendly people, multicultural vibe and security. I feel safe in the city and have no fears when walking about at night.

What do you enjoy most about study at Monash?

There are opportunities to meet many new friends from different countries. The lecturers are genuinely experts in their fields, the engineering facilities such as the laboratories are excellent. The sports facilities on campus (swimming pools and outdoor tennis) are also fantastic.

What issues did you have when you first arrived in Melbourne?

Culture shock, homesickness, and difficulty adapting my communication skills to a new environment.

What advice do you have for future students?

If you're having problems with study, don't give up, just keep working through it and seek help if required.
