Pre-departure briefings

In order to assist new students and their families, staff from Monash University will conduct pre-departure briefings. For semester 1, 2013 we will run briefings in Malaysia and Singapore.

The briefings cover:

  • enrolment
  • IT requirements
  • what to bring to Australia
  • customs and quarantine
  • our airport pick up service
  • ESOS regulations and visa issues
  • accommodation
  • cost of living
  • transport
  • cultural differences
  • support services and programs
  • safety and security

The briefings give students the opportunity to meet each other. Monash staff and current international students will also be there to answer your questions.
