The August 2012 Report rates Melbourne as the ideal destinations thanks to a widespread availability of goods and services, low personal risk and an effective infrastructure.

Australian student visa conditions also allow international students to work up to 20 hours per week.

Melbourne

Monash University has five campuses in metropolitan Melbourne and one campus in regional Victoria. Each campus offers a different lifestyle and opportunities.

Monash University briefs international students about safety and security as part of orientation and/or pre-departure briefings. Monash also provides a 24-hour emergency number and Safer Community Unit to assist students with safety and security questions.
