Monash has strong links with Vietnam and more than 150 students from Vietnam started a Monash degree in the first semester of 2009.
Academic Study Skills and English Tuition (ASSET) for the Graduate School of Business
ASSETT is a 20-week or 15-week ELBP for students who have narrowly missed the English language requirement for their GSB course. To enter the ASSET program students must have a Monash University Conditional Offer for a Graduate School of Business course. Your current English test scores determine whether you have been offered the 20-week or 15-week ASSET program

Monash University Foundation Year
The Monash University Foundation Year provides a pathway into the first year of your University degree.
Monash College
An excellent pathway for Vietnamese students into degrees in Art and Design, Arts, Business and Economics, Engineering, Information Technology degrees is through Monash College. The Monash College diploma is in two parts. Successful completion of Part 2 will give you direct entry into the second year of the corresponding Monash University degree.
- Entry requirements into Monash College Part 1
Completion of year 11 with minimum GPA of 7.5/10 plus required subject prerequisite (mathematics) and an IELTS score of 5.5 with no individual band score less than 5.0
- Entry requirements into Monash College Part 2
A completed High School Certificate with an overall average of at least 7.5 plus required prerequisite subjects of at least 7.5/10 and overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no individual band score less than 6.0.

Undergraduate direct entry requirements
The minimum direct entry requirement for admission to Monash is a completed High School Certificate at excellent grade "GIOI" or completion of the first year of University study with a GPA of 7.0/10 and a minimum of IELTS score of 6.5 with individual bands Listening and Reading 6.5 and Writing and Speaking 6.0. Some bachelor degrees require an IELTS of 7.0
Postgraduate entry requirements
To be admitted to a Masters degree you must have a completed Bachelors degree with a GPA of at least 6.5 (credit equivalent). For entry to most Masters programs, your Bachelors should be in a relevant subject area. Many Master programs require an IELTS of 7.0
