If you're about to start a new course at Monash, you must enrol in person. Enrolment and orientation are compulsory for both new students and continuing students commencing a new course.
Once you have accepted and paid for your offer, International Recruitment Services (IRS) will email you an official Authority to Enrol. You will receive this email about 2 - 3 weeks prior to your enrolment day on campus.
The Authority to Enrol lists enrolment tasks that you need to complete before attending enrolment day.
For more detail, see how to enrol – international students in Australia (Steps 1-3)
On enrolment day, go to your faculty on the date, time and location of your scheduled enrolment.
Faculty course advisers will assist you to select the units you will study.
Monash University does not accept early or online enrolments for international students. You must attend in person and cannot send someone else to enrol on your behalf.
Each course has its own enrolment date, time and location. You must refer to the 'enrolment flyer' for the date specific to your course.
For new international students enrolling into a Monash University course, please refer to the Monash University Enrolment Flyer for Semester 2, 2013 (pdf 214kb).
Students who are progressing from Monash College to Monash University will have a different enrolment date. You must refer to the following enrolment flyer for the date specific to your course.
For students completing Monash College and progressing to Monash University, please refer to the Monash College Progressing to Monash University Enrolment Flyer - Semester 2, 2013 (pdf 159kb).
