Australian Government Loan SchemesHECS-HELP (for Commonwealth Supported Place students)HECS-HELP is available to eligible Australian Citizens and Permanent Humanitarian Visa holders who are enrolled in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP). HECS-HELP allows students to defer the subsidised course fee (Student Contribution Amount) via the Australian Tax Office (ATO) or make payment directly to the University and receive a 20% discount where the payment is over $500. New Zealand Citizens and Australian Permanent Residence Visa Holders are eligible to apply for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) but are ineligible to access HECS-HELP and must pay the subsidised course fee (SCA) directly to the University. FEE-HELP (for domestic fee-paying students)FEE-HELP is a loan facility for eligible domestic students enrolled in fee-paying undergraduate and postgraduate non-research award courses. Both new and returning students who are Australian citizens or Australian Permanent Humanitarian visa holders are eligible to apply.
