Career opportunities

This interdisciplinary degree will give you vastly more career opportunities than graduates of the standard Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce, allowing you to forge your own unique career path. High-achieving graduates of the Dean's Scholars Program will be highly sought after, all over the world.

Commerce graduates have pursued roles in banking, politics, management, finance and insurance. They work for the government and corporations as stockbrokers, financial advisors, analysts and marketing consultants.

As a Monash Arts alumni, you'll walk in the footsteps of people who've gone on to win Academy Awards (Sophie Raymond), write for and about a prime minister (Don Watson) and been named a national living treasure (Michael Leunig).

Other alumni work in fields like publishing, PR, marketing, international trade, foreign affairs and politics, urban research, social welfare, teaching (with an extra qualification), performing arts (music or drama), film, as well as arts management, translating, interpreting, and voice recognition services.
