Successful completion of the Master of Nursing Practice demonstrates that a candidate has attained competence in delivering nursing care and is eligible to be registered as a Division 1 Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
On completion of this degree, graduates will be eligible for general nurse registration (division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
The Master of Nursing Practice will provide a professional nursing qualification for individuals who have gained an undergraduate degree. This program builds on prior knowledge and skills and facilitates the development of professional nursing practice through engagement with expert clinical nurses, contemporary nursing theory and evidence.
