Why study Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Social Work (with Honours)?

A Monash Honours degree is a mark of high achievement. It provides students with the opportunity to develop research skills beyond the research components of a Bachelor's degree. A small number of Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Social Work (BA/BSW) students may be offered a place in the honours program at the completion of the third year of the BA/BSW. This option is for students looking to enhance their research abilities and gain greater depths to their understanding of key issues within a specialised field of social work. Honours students are required to complete three subjects in addition to the usual subjects offered in their final year. These subjects are honours research methods, honours project seminar and honours dissertation
