Career opportunities

A wide range of careers is open to graduates with qualifications in both psychology and business. They include organisational psychologist, human resources manager, industrial relations consultant, market researcher, public policy adviser, training and development coordinator and international business manager. Graduates wishing to practise as a psychologist may apply to undertake the required further study and training through a postgraduate coursework or research degree.

The program is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council and meets the requirements of the Australian Psychological Society for Associate Membership.

Entry requirements

English requirements for international students

IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 6.5 in Reading and Listening and 6.0 in

Writing and Speaking; or TOEFL 580 with a TWE of 4.5; or a

computer-based TOEFL 237 with an Essay Rating (ER) of 5; or an

Internet-based TOEFL score of 90 with 22 in Writing and no section lower

than 20.

Semester two (July)

This course is currently not available to international students.

Enrolment obligation

International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than 25% of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students cannot enrol exclusively in distance and/or online learning study in any compulsory study period. See standard 9.4 of The National Code 2007.
