Course overviewNurses promote health and wellbeing for individuals, groups and populations whereas a midwife is able to supervise, care for and provide advice to women during pregnancy. This courses aims to produce a nurse midwife who is a highly capable individual able to work in partnership with a range of health-care professionals and in a variety of practice settings. Monash graduates are eligible for registration as a Division 1 nurse with the Nursing Board of Victoria and for additional endorsement as a midwife Division 1 register.
