Entry requirements

Minimum entrance requirements

VCE units 3 and 4 with a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English and a study score of at least 20 in any two of chemistry, biology, mathematical methods, physics or specialists mathematics.

Minimum entrance requirements for non-school-leavers

Non Year 12 applicants will apply through VTAC. Applicants will be assessed considering the entire academic record including GPA; UMAT; and interview. Non Year 12 applicants must also meet the Year 12 prerequisite subjects either at Year 12 level or equivalent tertiary studies. Successful completion of two semesters (Semester 1 & 2) of tertiary studies in the prerequisite VCE subjects at a recognised tertiary institution would be considered comparable to VCE success in those subjects.

VCE prerequisites

Units 3 and 4-a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English, and a study score of at least 25 in any two of chemistry, biology, mathematical methods (either), physics or specialist mathematics.

International Baccalaureate subject prerequisites

English and any two of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Further Mathematics or Physics at a minimum of grade four at standard level.
