This course provides quantitative skills and expertise required to carry out regression analysis, forecasting and financial market analysis. Graduates of the program will be equipped to design and implement applied econometric projects and will have the necessary quantitative skills to undertake higher degrees by research.

Applicants must have completed an Australian bachelor degree or an equivalent qualification, or an Executive Certificate awarded by the Faculty of Business and Economics and achieved a preferred Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65% or an equivalent GPA as determined by the Faculty. Applicants must have achieved a credit or equivalent in an introductory multiple regression unit at tertiary level. Applicants will be ranked and selected based on their entire academic record.
