This eight-unit course will provide the quantitative skills and expertise required to carry out regression analysis, forecasting and financial market analysis. Students will develop the requisite skills for designing and implementing applied econometric projects and the ability to communicate the results to wider audiences.
Applicants must have completed one of the following qualifications:
PREREQUISITE:
(a) Applicants would normally require a credit or equivalent in an introductory statistics subject / unit at tertiary level, and
(b) A Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60%, or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) as determined by the Faculty.
Applicants with a WAM of no more than 5% (or equivalent GPA) below the published score may be considered if places become available. For further information regarding WAM refer to:
