Career opportunities

The Master in Regional and Community Development is designed to suit those working in the public and private social sector in areas such as community development, health, education, social welfare, community arts, criminal justice, and the environment, and specifically those in roles that require or invite community engagement and a knowledge and understanding of the politics of community and place.

Entry requirements

Minimum entrance requirements

Applicants must hold a minimum three year bachelor degree usually with a credit average, and preferably working in a field in which the content of the course can be applied. Applicants who do not have a degree may be eligible to enter a Faculty Certificate program if they have five years relevant experience, and submit a CV with two referees and an accompanying 1000 word statement as to why they wish to enter the course.
