This web-based professional masters degree will benefit persons working in formal educational settings, business and industry, activist organisations, government, non-governmental organisations, health care, community and other settings, where experiences of globalisation are changing the way lives are lived and learning and work are undertaken.
An approved three year bachelors degree in a relevant field with a credit average in the final year; or an approved fourth year of study; or an approved four year bachelors degree; or have qualifications or experience that the faculty considers to be equivalent to, or a satisfactory substitute for the above. Students must be able to meet the following particular personal computer infrastructure requirements which include: reliable and regular e-mail and internet access with a minimum speed of 56 kps and a computer capable of running Netscape Navigator 4.7 or greater or Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater. A minimum configuration of a 200MHz processor, 32MB of RAM, a CD ROM player, 15" monitor, mouse and printer is recommended.

This course is not available to international students who are holders of an Australian student visa, for study onshore in Australia. However holders of some other categories of Australian visas, and students studying off-campus by distance learning outside of Australia, may be eligible for this course.
