Graduate Certificate in Counselling for 2008

Course overview

This course is designed to provide access to studies in counselling for people with very limited or no work experience in this field. The program suits people from a great variety of professional backgrounds, can also act as an alternate entry pathway for the Master in Counselling, and does not require an Australian Psychological Society (APS) accredited degree as a prerequisite for entry. The program provides a professional qualification and real-life counselling expertise for people who may not be practising psychologists or social workers, but who nonetheless have a strong interest in counselling. The Graduate Certificate in Counselling attracts people from a variety of professions such as human resources, health, social welfare and education.
