Course overview
The Master in School Leadership is designed to meet the needs of teachers from all sectors who aspire to senior appointments in schools. While undertaking this course, students will expand their world view through organisational and environmental perspectives as they develop managerial and technical proficiencies. This course will deepen an awareness of self and others. Students will also experience mentor and network support for a professional project of their own design. Throughout the Master in School Leadership students will extend and complement their personal and professional growth; strengthen their scholarship; develop relationships with other leading practitioners; learn management skills through application of theory into practice, establish an ethic of leadership that is grounded in respect, care and professional support for self and others; and develop alliances within school, local, regional and professional communities. Graduates of this program may be considered for admission to doctoral level studies. Students complete 48 credit points, made up of four 12-point units.
