Course overviewTeaching is a recognised and well-regarded career path for visual arts graduates. In addition to art education, graduates of visual arts/education may practise professionally in one or more art media, or may become involved in art gallery activities, cultural programs, or a range of art and design industry activities. Education studies provide a comprehensive knowledge of the theoretical foundations of education, curriculum studies and teaching practice. Core primary studies cover key learning areas of arts, English, mathematics, health and physical education, science, studies of society and environment (SOSE), and technology, and include practical experiences in primary schools, and other appropriate settings.
