Master of Clinical Midwifery for 2009

Course overview

This course is designed to provide higher degree studies to registered midwives. The options within this course will appeal to midwives seeking career advancement, Nurses Board Victoria (NBV) practitioner status for work in low-risk maternity and/or independent or specialist midwifery practice in addition to those interested in a pathway to undertaking higher research degrees. Students will select either a coursework option or coursework and minor research thesis. Students who successfully complete the research stream and achieve an overall average of HD may progress to a PhD or other Higher Degree by Research.
