Graduates work in Maternity care and work as primary carers in collaboration with other health care professionals.
This degree gives students a recognised pathway to a higher degree by research. It is designed to enhance students' ability to promote professional midwifery and to lead and achieve in their chosen field. Midwifery in contemporary health care requires professionals who are highly trained, technically competent and capable of identifying problems, and applying research methods in a practice environment.
