Course overview
Graduates of this double degree offer business and industry the professional skills of scientists and technologists, coupled with expertise in business and managerial practice.
For the science component, students complete two science core units and a major and a minor sequence in science. The studies in business and commerce include six compulsory units and a business major.
Science disciplines include applied biochemistry, applied microbiology, applied chemistry, applied statistics (minor only), computing, human physiology (minor only), resource and environmental management, mathematical sciences and psychology. Business units include accounting, business statistics, business law, economics, management and marketing.

Some examples include working as a technical manager, scientific officer, technical sales manager, marketing manager, occupational health and safety officer or laboratory manager.
