Admissions information for international students

Entry requirements

International entry requirements

  • An Australian bachelor of pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered as a pharmacist.
  • English language requirements.

International students located in Australia wishing to study this course must be registered as a pharmacist in Australia and have the appropriate visa to allow part-time study. All other international students are only able to study this course in their country of residence.

English requirements for international students

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences courses have higher IELTS, Pearson and TOEFL score requirements, than for Monash undergraduate programs.

  • IELTS (academic test) minimum test score of 7.0 overall (at least 6.5 in Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking)
  • Pearson Test of English (academic test) minimum test score of 65 overall (No PTE communicative skills score below 58)
  • TOEFL (paper based) minimum test score of 600 overall (TWE of 5.0)
  • TOEFL (internet based) minimum test score of 100 overall (at least 25 in Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking)
