Entry requirementsMinimum entrance requirementsA candidate must not less than two years prior to applying for admission to candidature have: a) qualified not less than two years previously, for the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Monash, or another University approved by the Faculty Board, and (b) hold part 1 Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) or equivalent body acceptable to the faculty and since qualifying for the degree of Bachelor of Surgery have been substantially engaged in the practice and study of surgery or in scientific works which, in the option of the faculty board is relevant to the practice of surgery. (c) to the satisfaction of the faculty board have been substantially engaged, since qualifying for the degree of Bachelor of Surgery, in the practice and study of surgery; or scientific work relevant to the practice of surgery.
