Course overviewMental health nurses provide support, counselling, advocacy and education to people and their families at times of great stress. They are often central to the planning and delivery of mental-health services and interventions. This degree allows students to gain a mix of skills in nursing and psychology that prepare them for careers in the mental-health field. Graduates are eligible for registration with the Nurses Board of Victoria as Division 1 nurses with specialist mental-health training.
