If you teach in a medical or health care setting and would like to improve your teaching, supervision and course development skills, the Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education is for you. The course design is practically orientated and will assist you to apply theory and best evidence to you own unique educational role.
Applicants should be actively engaged in health professional education, with a 3 year bachelors degree or diploma in their relevant discipline (eg. in medicine, nursing, dietetics, radiography, psychology, social work, pharmacy, paramedical studies etc.). Applicants without the relevant qualifications should be able to demonstrate equivalent substantial professional experience. This course is not available to international students for study in Australia, it is only available via off-campus learning in your home country.
Gaining the required result in one of the following tests of English language:
IELTS score of 7.0 with no individual band score less than 6.5
a TOEFL minimum test score of either
in the written TOEFL, 600 with a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 5.0
in the internet-based TOEFL, an overall score of at least 100 with at least 24 in the written section and no less than 20 in any other section.
