The Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) gives non-law graduates the academic qualifications to apply to practise law after completing a practical legal training program or a period of supervised workplace training.
The Monash Juris Doctor (JD) is an intensive, graduate entry law degree. The Monash JD recognises the specific needs of non-law graduates returning to study law and teaches the knowledge and skills only a law degree from one of Australia's leading universities can provide. Small class sizes and innovative teaching attracts passionate and dedicated individuals, and classes are taught at the city-based Monash Law Chambers, located in the heart of Melbourne's legal precinct.
