The Graduate Certificate in Forensic Studies (Accounting) has been designed for accounting practitioners who may be involved in litigation. Developed by the Monash University Forensic Studies Program in conjunction with the Australian Advocacy Institute and the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAA), this course is a well-established qualification in this growing professional area. This course is particularly relevant for accounting professionals who interact with the legal profession and those required to give expert evidence in court. It is also ideal for those who wish to move into the forensic accounting field or update their skills in this area.
An undergraduate degree in accounting (or equivalent qualification), or be a CPA or a Chartered Accountant, or have extensive professional work experience in accounting.
Minimum entrance requirements for admission to Monash University Australia.
This course is not available for Second Semester (July) entry.
