International entry requirements

A Bachelor of Engineering degree with honours I, 2A or 2B from Monash University or any other recognised tertiary institution or equivalent.

English requirements for international students

English Language Requirements:

IELTS - (Academic) achieving a minimum overall score of 6.5 and a score of at least 6 is required for each individual band.

TOEFL - achieving a minimum score of 577 with a TWE (Test of Written English) score of 5. Scores must be available for both TOEFL and TWE.

Computer based TOEFL - achieving a minimum score of 233 with an Essay Rating (ER) score of 5.

Internet based TOEFL - achieving a minimum score of 91 together with a minimum score of 25 in the written test and a minimum of 22 in each of the reading, speaking and listening tests.

Successful completion of a course of tertiary studies of at least two years duration, requiring formal assessment of written work in an English speaking country together with (at the University's discretion) documentary evidence of recent diagnostic testing where the English requirements specified above are met. A letter from the relevant tertiary institution will be required as documentary evidence). Please note that the definition of English speaking country is one where English is the first language.

Enrolment obligation

International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than 25% of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students cannot enrol exclusively in distance and/or online learning study in any compulsory study period. See standard 9.4 of The National Code 2007.
