Course overviewThe rapidly expanding aerospace industry is seeking qualified postgraduates to fill senior roles. Aerospace engineering is an exciting profession. It develops, adapts and uses state-of-the-art technology to build a machine that will supersede the last, in concept, design, speed and function. Whether it's a helicopter, an aircraft, or a spacecraft, the end products are many: the vehicle itself, its on-board electronic systems, improved engines, the development of improved materials, or the collection and analysis of computational data under simulated flight conditions among others. Aerospace engineers design, build, test, operate and maintain aircraft and spacecraft. They can work as members or leaders of research or technical teams, become pilots or even astronauts. This new course, a unique award program from Monash University taught in collaboration with the Department of Aerospace Engineering, University of Glasgow, equips graduates with the knowledge and skills to assume senior positions in the aerospace industry. Whether you have an honours degree in engineering or a related discipline, this course will take your aerospace engineering skills to the next level.
