This course offers the opportunity to combine studies in mechatronics engineering with a science degree. Students study the core aspects of the engineering discipline and complete a major and minor sequences towards the science component of this double-degree. Students may pursue a science major sequence in astrophysics, mathematics, physics or computer science. In the double-degree program, restrictions have been imposed on the number of prescribed units to ensure that students pursue studies that suitably equip them for subsequent years of study in engineering and science. Students must complete major and minor sequences towards the science component of this double-degree. Students may pursue a science major sequence in astrophysics, mathematics, physics or computer science.
Graduates are fully qualified mechatronics engineers and are highly sought after because of the breadth of knowledge they also bring from their Science degree.
